RAYAAT STUDENT UI/UX APP DESIGN

The Rayaat Student App is a UI/UX design project focused on creating a mobile application for Rayaat scholarship students. The app aims to provide a centralized platform where students can easily access their academic information, track progress, and stay updated with events and activities.

The project was developed as a high fidelity interactive prototype using Figma, based on real user needs identified through research and internship experience.

THE gaol &
Objective

The main goal was to design a user friendly and accessible mobile application that improves how Rayaat students manage their academic journey.

The objective was to simplify access to important information such as GPA, completed courses, attendance, and events, while enhancing engagement through notifications and interactive features.

THE STORY

The project is built around solving a real problem, students struggling to access their own academic information and relying on staff for updates. The app transforms this experience into a self-service system where users can track everything in one place.

The interface is designed to feel intuitive and structured, allowing users to navigate between sections such as progress tracking, events, and achievements with ease. Features like event registration, attendance tracking, and notifications create a dynamic experience that keeps students engaged and informed.

The story reflects a shift from dependency to independence, empowering students to take control of their academic journey through a clear and accessible digital solution.

OUR APPROACH

The project followed a user centered design process, starting with research and requirement gathering through surveys, interviews, and personal observations during the internship. Insights from both students and staff helped define the key features and user needs.

The design process included creating wireframes, user flows, and high fidelity mockups using Figma. Attention was given to usability principles such as consistency, clarity, and accessibility, including proper color contrast and readable typography (Tajawal font).

The prototype was developed iteratively, with feedback used to refine layouts, simplify navigation, and improve the overall user experience. Usability testing was conducted to evaluate how easily users could complete tasks such as checking records or registering for events.

the outcome

The final result is a fully interactive prototype that demonstrates how a mobile application can improve accessibility, organization, and student engagement within the Rayaat program.
