This project involved editing a video for Wadi Sail School’s celebration of Saudi National Day. While the school is in Bahrain, the event was held in cultural solidarity. Despite receiving lower quality raw clips, I enhanced the footage using CapCut and Canva, adding creative elements like text animations, gradient overlays, and royalty free background music.

Objective
The goal was to transform the raw footage into a polished, engaging video that would celebrate the event and be shareable. The objective was to enhance the visual appeal, add clear context with text, and ensure a smooth flow, even with challenging source material.
THE STORY
The video tells the story of the school’s celebration of Saudi National Day. It begins with animated text setting the context and theme of the event. As the video progresses, it highlights various activities, interactions, and the festive atmosphere of the day. By integrating overlays, music, and transitions, the video flows cohesively from start to finish.
OUR APPROACH
I began by assessing the raw clips, then used CapCut to improve pacing, add smooth transitions, and enhance visual quality where possible. Canva was used to incorporate transparent overlays and gradients, adding a layer of visual polish. I also added a royaltyfree background track to enhance the mood. A simple text animation introduced the event, providing context right at the start.
the outcome
The final video elevated the original clips into a cohesive, engaging piece that celebrated the event. It demonstrated adaptability in working with varied content and highlighted my ability to creatively enhance video projects.
