GRADE 3 EDUCATIONAL BOOKLET PAGES DESIGN
This project involved designing a set of educational booklet materials for a Grade 3 primary school teacher, including two booklet cover pages and two reusable activity page templates. The designs were created to be visually engaging, educational, and adaptable across different school subjects while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
The concept was inspired by the Katheem Robot (MOE Robot), incorporating a friendly robotic theme to create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for young students.

THE goal &
Objectives
The main goal was to design educational materials that encourage student engagement through creative visuals and child-friendly design.
The objective was to create a flexible design system that could be reused across multiple subjects while helping students easily identify their booklets and activities through a fun and recognizable theme.
THE STORY
The design concept centers around a friendly robot character that acts as a learning companion throughout the booklet. Inspired by the Katheem Robot, the visual style was developed to create a modern and engaging educational environment that resonates with primary school students.
The robot theme was used to transform traditional educational materials into something more exciting and approachable. Through playful illustrations, structured layouts, and bright visual elements, the design encourages curiosity, creativity, and participation in classroom activities.
The covers serve as a welcoming introduction to the booklet, while the activity pages create a consistent learning experience that can be adapted to various subjects throughout the academic year.
OUR APPROACH
The project began with researching educational design references and exploring visual directions inspired by the Katheem Robot. The challenge was to create a design that feels modern and engaging while remaining practical for classroom use.
The cover pages were designed to include student information areas, educational branding, and thematic robotic illustrations. The activity pages were developed as reusable templates, allowing the teacher to change colors and content while maintaining the same visual structure.
Attention was given to layout hierarchy, readability, whitespace, and child-friendly graphics to ensure the materials remain both functional and visually appealing. The designs were created using digital design tools and prepared for print production.
the outcome
The final result is a cohesive educational design system consisting of booklet covers and activity page templates that successfully combine learning and creativity through a robot inspired theme.
