THE GOAL &
OBJECTIVE
The main goal was to create a convincing and engaging horror trailer from unrelated source material.
The objective was to manipulate pacing, sound, and visuals to build tension and create a new storyline that feels original and immersive.
THE STORY
The trailer follows a dark and suspenseful narrative, where the combination of scenes creates a sense of mystery, fear, and psychological tension. Through careful sequencing, the footage is reinterpreted to suggest a hidden connection between events, building curiosity and unease.
The progression of the trailer moves from subtle tension to intense moments, using visual contrast and timing to keep the viewer engaged. Although the clips are sourced from different films, they are blended to feel like part of a single, continuous story.
OUR APPROACH
The project was developed using Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and Adobe Audition for sound design and audio enhancement. The process focused on selecting scenes that could visually connect, then restructuring them to form a new narrative.
Editing emphasized pacing, timing, and transitions to build suspense, while sound played a key role in enhancing the horror atmosphere. Audio effects, background sounds, and music were carefully adjusted to create tension and unify the different clips into one cohesive trailer.
