I created a short animated Instagram reel to celebrate Bahraini Youth Day. Using After Effects, I animated visuals that followed the official event branding. The cover page was designed in Illustrator, incorporating images of Rayaat students for a personal touch.

THE goal &
objective

The goal was to create a visually appealing and on brand reel for social media.

The objective was to highlight Bahraini Youth Day while ensuring it reflected the event’s color scheme and engaged viewers quickly and effectively.

THE STORY

The reel provides a concise celebration of youth achievements. Starting with a cover image featuring students, it transitions into animated sequences celebrating youth empowerment, growth, and community. The narrative is simple, emphasizing optimism and pride.

OUR APPROACH

I followed Bahraini Youth Day’s official color branding to ensure consistency. After sourcing student images, I created a custom cover in Illustrator. The animation was done in After Effects, focusing on smooth transitions and simple motion to keep the viewer engaged. The final reel was optimized for Instagram, ensuring clarity and impact in a short format.
