MUHARRAQ NIGHTS AI GENERATED VIDEO
The Muharraq Nights video was a project born out of the "AI in Media Industry" workshop led by Abdulrahman Fuzaia. Over three days, I learnt AI based video generation, prompt engineering, and creative manipulation. For Muharraq Nights, I used my own photos along with AI images, transforming them with AI tools into a cohesive video that visually represents Muharraq.

THE goal &
Objective
The aim was to harness AI’s potential to turn static images into dynamic, engaging visuals.
The objective was to experiment with AI tools to craft a storytelling piece while building technical expertise.
THE STORY
The video is a journey through Muharraq, with AI shaping familiar scenes into new interpretations. It’s an abstract representation, less about a linear narrative and more about evoking the heritage and ambience of the city.
OUR APPROACH
I began with personal photographs of Muharraq and used AI tools such as generating images, making them into video, and also generating speech audio and background music to animate and enhance them to create new scenes. The process involved iterating prompts and refining outputs, ensuring each sequence aligned with the aesthetic. Editing was focused on creating a seamless, cohesive video that felt immersive yet experimental.
The Outcome
This workshop experience paved the way for future projects. Following this, I generated AI videos for Mubarak Najem’s orchestras and even promotional content for the Rayaat Tamayez Scholarship.
